Applied Physics
Short description
The Department of Applied Natural Sciences is strong in research, characterized by interdisciplinary cooperation and close contact with research partners, especially in regional industry. With the joint competence project (physics-environment), these two strengths of the department are addressed in the study program applied physics: on the one hand, the joint project between different disciplines promotes the interdisciplinary character, on the other hand, the competence projects are designed in such a way that the project contents are developed varying from current issues (e.g. industrial projects). Through the deliberate interlocking with the study program Environmental Management, direct references to both other focal points are established.
