Sustainable agriculture
Short description
The Bachelor's degree course in Sustainable Agriculture is divided into seven semesters. In the first four semesters, students are taught the basics of natural sciences, economics and social sciences in 22 compulsory modules. Basic knowledge is taught in the specialist areas of animal and plant production and business management, particularly with regard to sustainable agriculture. Of great importance here is the direct practical relevance, which is achieved in particular through the practical relevance of the lecturers, through application exercises on the test field, in the laboratory and on farms as well as through excursions in Germany and abroad. In addition, subject-related topics are worked on and presented independently in two seminars.
