Sustainable building technology

University: Lübeck University of Technology
Department/Faculty: Department of Civil Engineering
Location: luebeck
Degree: Bachelor
Start of course: Winter semester

Short description

The goal of the program is to train engineers who consider all aspects of sustainability, comfort, energy requirements, energy supply and building technology when designing a building. Students of Sustainable Building Technology make their contribution to ensuring that future buildings are built in a way that conserves resources and is sustainable. The focus is on climate protection goals. Students learn how to optimize building technology in terms of ecological and economic aspects. During their studies, they already work closely with architects and specialist planners. As engineers, they ask themselves questions such as: What are the interactions between the building envelope and building technology? Or: what are the needs of the building's occupants?
