Short description
Carsten Schultz holds the professorship for Technology Management at Christian-Albrechts-Universität zu Kiel. From 2008 to 2011, he held the junior professorship for Management of Service Innovations and Technology Transfer endowed by Deutsche Telekom AG at the Technical University of Berlin. Carsten Schultz studied industrial engineering and received his doctorate in 2006 on the topic of "Management of high-value services using the example of telemedicine" at the Technical University of Berlin, where he also completed his habilitation in 2011 on the topic of "Organization of Innovation." From 2004 to 2008, he headed the Siemens Center for Knowledge Interchange, the strategic partnership between Siemens and TU Berlin. The focus of his work is on analyzing the challenges and potentials of innovation management, digital business models and services, and increasing networking in the value creation and innovation process.
