Short description

Born in 1980, grew up in North Friesland. Vocational training as a refrigeration engineer in Husum. Diploma studies in supply engineering and master studies in "technical business management" at Ostfalia (formerly FH Braunschweig/Wolfenbüttel). Research associate at the Institute for Energy-Optimized Systems (Ostfalia) and lecturer for refrigeration technology at Volkswagen Kraftwerk GmbH in Wolfsburg. Author of the book "Biomass Firing Systems. Doctorate (Dr.-Ing.) at the Technical University of Clausthal. Energy and environmental engineer for Nestlé Deutschland AG (2008 - 2016), most recently responsible for the area of the four North German plants and Nestlé Erzeugnisse GmbH. Member of the Environmental Committee of the Hamburg Chamber of Commerce (2011 - 2016). Member of the Technical Committee for Energy and Environmental Management of the VDI as well as guideline committee of VDI 4663 (evaluation of energy and material efficiency). Appointed Professor for Thermal Energy Technology at Flensburg University of Applied Sciences in April 2016.
