Short description
Olaf Landsiedel is Professor of Computer Science at Kiel University in Germany and a researcher at Chalmers University of Technology in Gothenburg, Sweden. His research focuses on Distributed and Networked Systems, in particular the Internet of Things (IoT), Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS), Intelligent Systems, Applied AI, and Edge & Fog Computing. From 2012 to 2018, he was first Assistant and then Associate Professor (tenured) at Chalmers University of Technology in Gothenburg. And from 2010 to 2012, he has spent two years as PostDoc at the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) and Swedish Institute of Computer Science (SICS) in Sweden. He received his PhD from RWTH Aachen University in 2010.
