Short description
Shilong Chen received his PhD in Chemistry from University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) in 2016. He then worked at Ulm University as a postdoctoral researcher until 2021. He continued his work as a group leader in the Institute of Inorganic Chemistry at Kiel University since 2022. His research interests focus on the ammonia decomposition for H2 storage and the selective conversion of CO2 to synthesized fuel/chemical as well as the fundamental understanding of catalytic processes by operando spectroscopy.
