Professor of Renewable Offshore Energy/Wind Energy Technology at HAW Kiel. My teaching and research focus on the mechanical drivetrain of wind turbines, as well as large-diameter bearings and tribology.
Previously at thyssenkrupp Rothe Erde (Lippstadt), Leibniz University Hannover, CEROBEAR GmbH (Herzogenrath/Aachen), RWTH Aachen (undergraduate studies), and PFERD-Werkzeuge (Marienheide).
