Alexandra Krumm has been a research assistant at the European University Flensburg since April 2021. She has been doing her PhD in the CoalExit research group since January 2020 and is a scholarship holder and part of the Reiner Lemoine Foundation's PhD group "Energy system transformation". In her PhD, she analyses public participation processes in the design of the energy transition and the modelling of social aspects.
She has a Master's degree in industrial engineering with a focus on energy and resource management from the TU Berlin. As part of her studies, Alexandra spent a semester abroad at the İstanbul Teknik Üniversitesi in Turkey and the Indian Institute of Technology Madras in India. She gained practical experience as a working student at the German Energy Agency (dena), the Society for International Cooperation (giz), and the Reiner Lemoine Institute (RLI).
